Asked before you ask
Where should we start?
With whatever is done weekly, takes more than an hour, and follows rules a new hire could learn. That is almost always the fastest payback.
Do we need to replace our current tools?
No. Most of this work connects what you already use. Replacing a tool is a separate decision, and we will only raise it if the tool is the bottleneck.
What if an automation fails at 2am?
It retries, then alerts a named person with the failing run attached, and the documented manual path covers the gap. Silent failure is the thing we design hardest against.
Is this about cutting headcount?
